Finalized Unit Assets Functionality Test
Overview:
The primary goal of this phase was to integrate finalized 3D models and animations for all Battle Units into the game. All finalized assets for Battle Units have been successfully implemented. This includes character models, animations, and associated visual components, bringing the units visually in line with the intended design and aesthetic. These units now appear as intended during gameplay and are fully functional on the battlefield.
Inventory System Functionality Test
Overview:
The primary goal of this test was to verify the correct display and behavior of item durability within the inventory system. The inventory system is approximately 85% complete, with core functionality implemented and most features operational.
Weapon VFX Functionality Test
Overview:
The primary objective of this test was to begin implementing and validating the core VFX systems tied to standard weapon attacks. We introduced initial visual effects for both slashing and piercing weapon types, alongside synchronized sound effects to enhance impact and combat feedback.
Dragon Whelp and Drake Functionality Test
Overview:
This test was conducted to ensure that both the Drake (Tier 1 Boss) and Dragon Whelp (standard enemy) characters were functioning correctly before implementing their special attacks.
Spearman Functionality Test
Overview:
Both the one-handed spear and shield and the two-handed spearman are working. I still need to find an animation for when they're running, though, so that the spear isn't stabbing them in the face while running.
Prototype Evaluation
Overview:
This initial round of testing focused on exploring the foundational template used to begin development. The primary goal was to become familiar with level pacing, basic player movement, and environmental navigation.
